  1. hi. i am a student.

i just celebrated my birthday. and i recieved a birthday greeting from ntuc much to my surprise. upon looking into this greeting card i noticed that it was signed off, not by my agent, but by another person- you.

personally, i do not hold anything against you. but i just find this gesture very impersonal.

my impression of insurance is something that is personal and fitted to your own preferences. this does not reflect well on the concept of insurance as impersonal services only means that it has fallen in standard of service and is much flawed. it is making insurance cold and distant, unlike the personal service that i use to enjoy.

please look into this matter as constructively as possible. thank you.

  2. Dear Stef,

Your insurance agent should give you a telephone call as well to give the personal touch. If the agent did not, then the agent is lazy.

  3. Dear Heng,

Yes, it is legal. I cannot think of any law that disallow it.
