  1. Remarkable !

No-one will ever wish that such emergency medical evacuation will befall on him/her - but if really unforeseen, the withdrawal of 15% cost-sharing clause will indeed be a great assistance, and an excellent gesture from NTUC Income.

  2. Depends!

It really depend on the destination and duration of the holiday, right?

From Mr Tan's post, NTUC's Plan is $41 for a 7 days Asia travel policy compared to Co-A's premium of $66 and Co-X's premium of $56.

However, if I were planning a 10 day's Thailand & Bail SCUBA diving trip, NTUC's plan will cost $62.50 (incl 25% extra premium for diving).

However, I went to AIG's website and the premium (quoted online) is only $49.00.

It now seems that the reverse is true. If the difference is $13.50, wouldn't a family of 5 people now have to pay an extra of $67.50 to NTUC income?
