  3. 66% of the population is doing fine. Let's not rock the boat.

  4. To 10:13 PM,
Are you sure all the 66% are doing fine? Probably the majority of them are brainwashed and ignorant of what hit them. The remaining minority are certainly doing very well but care only for themselves and ignore the plight of the lesser mortals and the exploitation and abuse going on.

  5. In the other less developed countries around us, the people earned less than us. However, things are so much cheaper, particularly those big ticket items like houses, cars, furniture, renovation, etc. They also don't have to work so hard like us, chasing the elusive dream house, cars, etc. Generally, the majority of the people have savings when they reach retirement age and they do not have to continue working way past their retirement age into their 60s or further. When these people retire, they can move back into the country side, where houses and cost of living are cheaper, with abundant fresh air. Can we do that in Singapore where the whole country is built up and daily necessities are priced almost the same throughout the whole country.

  6. I think it is high time the Singapore government think about how to run Singapore as a country rather than to run it as a company.
