Banks' usury practices

Some of the large banks have adopted usurious overdraft policies aimed at catching debit card users unaware and wringing as much money out of them as possible. Read this report.

  1. Our local banks are the same. Woe betide you if you do not check your bank balances and overdrawn by being careless, and immediately be slapped with overdraft charges until you are aware after a number of days, and quickly transfer funds in to rectify.
    Even cashiers' orders in your own names after your FD have matured attract a $5.00 fee.
    Banks could be so petty and stingy.
