Birds of a feather flock together? The blind leading the blind?
I remember few months back, somebody organised something like that at Hong Lim Park on unemployment in Singapore. It was widely publicised in Online Citizen and also urged those to spread the word around.
In the end less than 20 people turn up for the event. The organiser was so disappointed and gave up altogether.
By the way, I think the organiser himself, who was also unemployed, has moved on to Australia hoping to seek a better future.

The problem of joblessness is a question of supply. There is insufficient jobs for the demand (of job seekers).
ReplyDeleteThose with jobs are working long hours, for fear of losing their jobs. Those without jobs are idle.
This is the capitalist market system. It is good for capitalists, but bad for workers, bad for the people and bad for the society.
