Human population increased to correct "stop at 2" so no choice but to open up the floodgate to let in more "FTs".
Car population sudden increased surely must have a link to large influx of "FTs".
If roads not congested how to justify $$ spent on ERP? Surely LTA wouldn't want its "brainchild" to be a "white elephant".
With more cars on the roads, it's a "win-win" for everyone, besides generates more "income" such as parking fines, HDB season parking, COE and ERP, at the same time, can satisfy more people who aspire to be car owners/drivers.
We need a wider and more efficient MRT and LRT system to reduce the reliance on cars. Also, we need a better taxi pricing system to attract drivers to switch to taxis. For example, those who prefer to hire based on an hourly basis should have a different price.
Exx is to make money, otherwise why so congested?
