  1. I suggest to Alex Tan to change the time to 5 pm so that it will be cooler. Singapore's climate is too hot at 3 pm.

  2. Alex,

There is freedom of speech in Singapore. However, if "they" don't like your speech, there may not be any freedom after the speech.

I love to attend but I don't want to be on "candid camera". Very chaklat later, don't pray pray eh!!!!

    Best of luck Bro.

  4. I agree that Chinese New Year season is not a good time to talk about Singaporeans versus foreigners. The majority of Singaporeans are ethnic Chinese and the majority of foreigners in Singapore are also ethnic Chinese from Malaysia and China. All celebrate the same Chinese New Year. The festivities bring upfront many things we share in common rather than differences.

  7. Is there any point talking at Speaker Corner? With 200-500 attendance during the beginning of Minibond and petitionssssss announcements, MAS and Govt totally ignore the speech, the questions raise and the help sought by the senior investors.

What it means? Our voice is just to small or insignificant to move them. They know they can do whatever they like or want e.g. raise their own salary with the reason that they have not raise for a long time. But they are smart enough not to compare with outher countries politicians' salary which they normal do except that this time round, they are the most expensive.

  9. To those who are afraid of being caught on camera, I am so sorry. Not only for you but for the rest of us who may not have the eloquence nor charisma to move masses.

Do not blame the PAP or the 66.6%.
I'll try my best to be there.
In Singapore, nowadays, if you do not " complain" / Write/ call when someting is not right, do not expect the "man-in-Charge" to do someting. They are waiting for Statistics, and then maybe...
