The koreans already have a few companies making these kind of lights and also using it for some of their street lighting. As usual, we are slow to adopt and develop this kind of new technology.

LEDs are also brighter. is the emergency touchlight using LED bulbs ?
just purchased a few bulbs...dunno how much it saves but the guy at chroma something said can saved up to 70%...dunno true or not...but the LED bulbs are not cheap...:-(
