Tommy talked about the greed in the materialistic world where the following people make a lot of money (and in the process made other people poorer):
a) politicians
b) top CEOs
c) bankers
He also talked about how to find happiness in the spiritual world by living on certain principles. This came give some comfort to those who have been made poorer by the greedy financial institutions.

The same could be said of politics.
While it is true that there is excessive greed, finding comfort by seeking refuge in the spiritual world may be of scant comfort. More importantly, it could simply be trying to run away from the real by escaping into the unreal.
ReplyDeleteConfucianism and humanism in general may offer better advice about how to live a happier and meaningful life.
