Parka I agree with what you said about HTML documents. The disadvantage of HTML document is when it comes to saving the document. Right now, it is stored in a zip folder with separate files for the images. It is quite untidy. On balance, I find that it is better to use the PDF format. ReplyDeleteThe point of using PDF is to ensure everyone who views it can view the content exactly the way it is laid out on a page.
A document-centric approach doesn't mean it needs to use PDF. Simple HTML page placed in proper hierarchy can be a document-centric approach as well.
Using PDFs in this case seems to be an extra step that's unnecessary.
