Should a system of contingency fee be practiced for lawyers and medical specialists, so that they get paid their fee only on successful outcome of the case? Here are the results of a survey of 34 people.
I have missed participating in the survey. Anyway my view is in agreement with Mr Tan for some kind of contingency fee approach.
I certainly do not trust lawyers and doctors. When it comes to money matters and commercial profit, ethics is likely to factor very low. Legal and medical profession have a hugh unfair advantage over most clients so the potential for exploitation and fraud runs very high. The amount of abuse and horror stories one can find on the internet about the medical industry is really scary.
