The current HDB flats pricing is one such outcomes. Charge as much as the market can bear. They forgot that these are "PUBLIC" housings, but so what. They have the mandate, no ?
Many people did not realised that the current medical science is heading to the dead end. Why, if this doctor can rally save her life for sure do't say RM26 million RM260 MILLION WAS NOT for a royal familiy to pay. But what have end up the true is the patient died. So please have a second tought about the medical science of today. It can not save life.

Perhaps they should also attend courses on conflict management and negotiation skills.

S$24m over 7 months is about S$3.5m per month. Just on one patient? Come on. You can start a medical group or even insurance company with that. Prudential Singapore converted from branch to subdsidiary with S$25m paid-up capital in 1990. Life is precious and invaluable, yes. But this is obviously atrocious overcharging.
