I've also noticed there seemed to be an about-turn on the stand on egg consumption from HPB too.
They used to have articles asking you to limit the number of eggs consumed in a week according to age. Now they're no more found. However, I've never heard their clarification. I've asked my TCM doctor and she told me she and her husband both in their 50s are still having at least an egg a day. They've never heard of eggs raising cholesterol levels from studies done in China too.
Better to be safe than sorry.
ReplyDeleteCan't deny eggs are high in cholestrol, just limit eating them not more than three each week.
