Good turnout at election rallies

I attended the election rally of the Singapore Democratic Party (opposite  Commonwealth MRT) and the Reform Party (at Clementi Stadium) and saw a large turnout at both rallies.

  1. So old already, but still attended the rally of Worker's Party at Hougang Central last evening, the first attendance in my whole life, just out of curiosity.
The sight of the sheer size of the attendees really stumped us, we estimated the crowd was 50,000 strong, occupying the whole field, opposite the main road, and up every staircase of the HDB blocks around and facing the field.
Just to see and hear the WP's team.
    Like attending some celebrity stars
performance. Chen Show Mao spoke like China's Wen Jia Bao, in a slow, measured, highly intelligent,
    articulate kind of way.
We left after 45 mins, wondering whether the sheer size of the rally attendees would translate into votes, come may the 7th.
Very interesting, but exciting. This GE is really a watershed event.
