Somebody said that this election is a contest of the Tri-Tans - Tan Cheng Bock, Tan Kin Lian and Tony Tan. It is not a contest of the Titans - because I represent the small guys.
Tony is too close to the Lee family and PAP Teo Chee Hian, the latter his close relative. We don't want a big happy family together, so not likely to vote for him. Want someone more distant from the PAP, even a former PAP member would do.
I doubt any of the interested candidates claim not to represent the small guys.

When you were CEO of NTUC Income, you wrote to the ST Forum justifying why Income refused to allow renewal of the motor insurance policy of an accident victim who insisted on repairing her vehicle at a workshop of her own choice - because she was claiming damages against another Income motor insurance policy holder.
The victim was fully within her rights to do so, but you wanted her to forgo those rights in order to minimise the insurance payout from Income.
From that incident, I have decided that I would not want you to be representing my interests.
Not when I'm a small guy. Nor if I should ever become more than a small guy.
You got to relax and focus on your key proposition.

With the votes split between yourself and tan CB, ther is no way any one of you will win. Very unfortunate.
