Denise Phua and Ministers' Salaries

Hi Mr Tan Kin Lian,

I have followed your blog since 2007. Find that most of the posted issues are factual and objective. These are the reasons that your blog is so popular and has a record of about 3 millions visitors record till date. In fact, some of my friends read your blog first in every morning.

It is my sincere hope that you can post the attached Denise Phua's speech on your blog. This can be a good reference for the Salary Review Committee.

As regard to your decision to run for the presidency, it is a noble thought that you do not want any walkovers. The only thing is to participate in the race. LET THE BEST MAN BE THE WINNER.

  1. Honestly Mr. Tan not only have his own country follower but also those outside his own country.

I am a Malaysian who also read his blog first in the morning.

I truly find his comments very honest and useful, most sure those comments on insurance.

Though the PE may not be my most concern but any I wish Mr. Tan all the best. From my heart he is an honest man.

  2. Heard that Denise Phua was not a good MP because she does not listen to the constituent during the MPS.
Also she demonstrated after her defeat in the GE, that she is a sore loser. No grace at all.

    1. Many of the white MPs are arrogant and not really doing their actual work and doing it out of their personal interest. This is an open secret.

  3. Yujuan
The loser is Cynthia Phua from Aljunid.
Denise Phua is from Jalan Besar previously - and now in the new GRC that replaced Jalan Besar.

    1. Cynthia Phua and Denise Phua are sisters. One is lucky to retain as MP and the other one is not.

  4. Ah, my apologies, got mixed up, this shows i don't even know the names of the PAP MPs, but know the names of the opposition better. Honestly, don't even know those in my PAP ward. Can't be bothered to know at all, they seem so far and so unfamiliar to know even their names.

  5. In case you do get an Eligibility Certification, does that mean that they think you are okay for them? In case you are elected, what can you do to make Eligibility Certification be reduced? And also to make sure that we have a truly open panel or committee that is truly independent at the Council that decides upon eligibility.
