Grow 600 times in 30 years

I joined NTUC Income in 1977 as the general manager (later re-designated as  chief executive officer).  During a period of 30 years, the total assets increased by 600 times from $28 million to $17 billion.

  1. See Mr. Tan, you are such a petty person, cannot even stand up to constructive criticism. Yesterday, I pointed out a simple fact that you did not grow Income's asset by yourself and suggested you stop claiming other people's credit. But you chose not to publish my comment. You are just worse than the straits times; you only publish views that you like. Please do not become our EP! Stick your insurance thingie, please.

  2. Mr. Tan Kin Lian has never claimed that he has single-handedly raised NTUC Income Insurance's total assets from $28 million to $17 billion.

He has attributed these achievements to his former colleagues, associates and partners and obviously, the policy holders as well. He has said it repeatedly during his press conferences and interviews too.

Hence, it is very unbecoming of you to criticize Mr. Tan Kin Lian this way.

  3. This anonymous idiot must be someone connected to the insurance industry.
    Think he is criticizing himself.
All CEOs rely, motivate and direct their own circle of staff to grow any Company, if not he must be a superman or God Almighty, able to wave his magic wand.
Similarly, the PAP also rely on us citizens to bring Singapore from third to first world status. Not even old man LKY could do it on his own. Apparent to all, PAP is just as petty, isn't it.
Since he is so full of fury in his belly, perhaps TKL could just ignore this pest and continue with preparations for the EP contest. Don't waste precious time on him.
    He's not worth a cent.
Emphasize again here, we are electing a President who could represent us best, not voting for a person based on his character.
Everybody has a past, even our present President Nathan has a concealed past with the Japanese Army of WW2, but as long as a person's past did not harm anybody, it's all right with us.
So just shut up this pest, enough of his childish comment postings.
He just have lots of bones to pick with TKL, and we are not interested in his personal or TKL's affairs. We want to concentrate on the wellbeing of our beloved country, we don't want history repeating itself like selling out Christmas Islands to foreigners, and the perpetrators disappearing to the Bahamas to enjoy their retirement, being loaded with money.
    God forbids this horrible scenario.
It's our CPF money that worry us now, are the fund still solvent?

  4. The anonymous person has been posting comments to attack and insult me repeatedly. I have blocked many of his comments, but allowed a few comments through.
He may not realize that his activity is criminal harassment, even if it is done through the internet. It is tantamount to shouting profanity against me daily outside of my house.
I believe that he is paid to do this dirty work, so his payer is also guilty of criminal conduct.
