Many young Singaporeans appear to be angry at missing the chance for a university education here. Their parents have to spend a lot of money to send them for education overseas. http://www.temasekreview.com/2011/07/02/what-has-tony-tan-done-for-university-education-2/
Many Singaporean professors also lost their jobs and replaced by foreigners. Is this good for Singapore?
ReplyDeleteMy son was reject by local U of he choice course and go to oversea U of he choice course. My question to the Government are:
ReplyDeletea) Why our 3nd generation citizen was deprive an oppurtunity to get education locally?
b) Parent who must spent a lot of thier retire money to send their children to an expensive oversea U ?
c) How to build our nation if our own 3rd generation citizen is not coming back after study oversea ?
d) If our own 3nd generation was reject an admission to local U of their choice course, how can they be rayol to our country ?
maybe a reason why many people don't have enough for retirement because they spent their retirement fund on their children's education overseas. If they can admitted to local U that would spare the retirement money, right? Out govt isn't taking care of us , the citizens who have done national service. Why stay around and see your future go to FTs who conveneintly snatched it out of hands.
