  3. You can read the loyalty of the Bhutanese people and the many apologies sent by Singaporeans who disagree with the remarks by the Singapore Minister.

  4. Heard that Khaw is a pious Buddhist.
So it came as a surprise to us he could degrade Bhutan, a staunchly Buddhist country.
Bhutan may not be the Shangrilla on earth, but she is as close as she could be.
Why all the PAP people are of the same mould, passing insulting remarks about other countries. There could be only one LKY, the rest better not try to imitate him, as other people will not accept that.

  5. Happiness is a state of mind and not something you wear for other to see.

  6. Shows how shallow our leaders are.

Even a minister that embrace Buddhism has lost his direction. How sad!

  7. I think I have realized the real reason why the Singapore minister said that the Bhutanese people are unhappy. It is because he was disappointed that he could not find the Happiness he sought when he went to Bhutan a few years ago in his personal capacity(who makes a trip all the way to Bhutan not to seek its Happiness?). So his failure to find Happiness in Bhutan could have led him to think that Bhutan’s focus on Gross National Happiness is a scam/lie, which he later expressed this in his disparaging remarks made in parliament that the Bhutanese people don’t look happy to him.

Bhutan is actually a place where people can find real Happiness/Liberation, but only if they look from the right perspective, otherwise they would fail to find it.

I hope one day he can find the right perspective to perceive and appreciate Bhutan’s true Happiness.

I have wrote a spiritual article of the 5 core factors of Happiness in my Spiritual Facebook group

  8. Happiness is not just something there somewhere to be found.

And neither can he find it in Bhutan alone, if his mind is not clear about what he is looking for. Too much preoccupation with greed and accumulation of wealth and trying too hard to help the HDB make more money makes it difficult for him to see the real reason why the Bhutanese are such happy people.

He will never understand even if he wanted to.

    All capitalists embrace measurements.
