Interesting points raised. Ultimately, the easing of COE cuts only kicked the can furthur down the road. And our roads are pretty congested already. The solution to most issues in Singapore lies in curbing the rise of office / food courts /business rental, pulling back the influx of foreigners, giving young couples cheaper HDB and a minimum wage and fixing another Public issue -the public transport system. Can the present Govt fix all of them? Sure, if they have the political will. Unfortunately, I for one believe they still do not see it.
