Quality of Life and Fertility

AWARE said that improving fertility requires the quality of life to be improved. I agree with this view.

  2. Wan more babies? Easy, ditch the prim and proper Victorian Age, and keep up with the Times.
    1. Recognise and give full support to single mothers, who for various reasons, dun tie the knot with their babies' fathers.

Some career women only wan their own babies, but dunwan to get married, or the irresponsible boyfriends dun wan the responsibility, many Catholic women dun wan to abort their Baobao also.

    2. In high cost, materialistic Singapore, many career women postphone baby making, and suddenly the time machine just stop ticking for no reasons, cannot conceive children. My sis in law could not conceive after 1st baby, as she suddenly entered early menopause at age 35.
Solution - legalise Egg freezing, so that career women could use later to have children.

The fertility problem in Singapore is in serious crisis mode now, why pretend to stick to morality issues and antiquated ideas, which is not keeping with modern, fast paced times.
Also, plenty of child care centres available, esp at work places are mandatory, to keep mothers at ease while working.
As a mother myself decades ago, could understand a working woman's heart tugging emotions, when her child is running a fever while she is at work, her motherly instinct is child first, her work can wait.
