It is encouraging to see the new CEO of SMRT, Desmond Kuek, take the train to work on his first day. He has also arranged to see the maintenance of the track at night. I wish him all the best.

Made 3 complaints about screeching sounds on the rails between Novena and Orchard stations, since Saw resigned.
ReplyDeleteRecently no more sounds, looks like SMRT is back to its original duty of providing MRT services and a retail landlord second.
Hope Desmond is not just a new broom sweeps clean only.
