Tourists been to North Korea, are inevitably brought to view a specially cultivated flower, grown, encased in a warm greenhouse, to be admired. Remembered that it had only one large, bright red flower sitting proudly on a stem.
ReplyDeleteA fitting description for our closeted MSM journalist, who is just as carefully nurtured, guided safely in a safe greenhouse environment, to produce articles for print, according to his nurturer, the Govt.
Never would our journalist have the balls to try to emulate this slain Sri Lanka journalist even one wee bit. A "wayward" journalist here won't get "bumped off" into nether world, but he will have his journalistic career killed off unceremoniously, and would have to follow Seah of the Star Paper of Malaysia, by leaving country to continue his career in a foreign Newspaper.
A poignant Letter that put to utter shame the state of journalism in Singapore.
Be thought provoking !
