I do not like the omnibus apps that contain 10 to 20 different functions. These apps take a long time to load. They can be confusing to the user. Most of the functions are not useful.
I prefer to design light weight apps to serve a single purpose. Here are some examples of a single purpose app:
* QR reader. Just scan the QR code and display the website
* Digital wallet. Scan the QR code and make payment. Allow for top-up
* Trace Together. Behave just like the token. Remove the Safe Entry function.
I also prefer that the single purpose app ask for a small payment or donation. They should not display advertisements, which are distracting and troublesome.
I do not mind making a one time payment of $5 or $10 for a useful app. However, I will refuse to pay a monthly subscription - which I do not trust.
Agree or not?
