  1. Dual-Key HDB.

Elderly parents living with a married child helping to look after grandchildren. Married child looking after elderly parents next door without imposing on each other's privacy.

Elderly able to rent out another part of the house for income, without patronizing on handouts from the state, CPF or married children.

Married couples can rent out some space for income so as the wife need not work to full-time the young children. No need a maid.

Since taxes were collected averaging $53 BILLION yearly, this is the very least they can do
    for the 3.5 million Singaporeans?

Solving the problems of lonely ageing people and improve birth rates. Do not make rules that only certain criteria can apply. Make it compulsory that all HDB are dual-keys. Free and easy. Any sons, daughters who are born on this land are eligible to buy.

  3. Dual-Key HDB.

With good architecture designing without disturbing too many neighbours, some can even figure

out how to earn extra money from Airbnb. This model will work well for people who cannot work

due to ill-health or having a sick family member to take care of full-time.
