The future for media companies

The media companies around the world are struggling. They are trying to move to the online channel, but have not been successful.


Singapore Press Holdings face a similar challenge.

What is the solution?

I have some ideas:

  1. First and foremost, not everyone reads everything.

    Second and foremost, the writers or the people interviewed tend to slant transformative news to their real-life advantages.

    Third and foremost not everything you read could be true. Remember they are selling newspapers.

    Forth and foremost, people only tell what they wanted you to know.

    And the rest, counterfeit news. Not everybody has the privilege of possessing every fact.

  4. What we read or hear- Information that was proclaimed and the information we know to be true

    is often vast. This can be seen in relationships, in commercial transactions, in our voting

    patterns and of course in politics. Bear in mind, people say one thing but do another?
