  1. The present house that we are living in is owned by me and my parents. Over the last few

years we have been contemplating to upgrade to a bigger space, the reason being their

health has been detoriorating and we might need a spare room if we were to hire a full-time

maid. My parents insisted that the ownership be included them. They feared that I have the

capacity to throw them out in future if they are not owners. When I was clearing my leave

last month we went to the bank to enquire about loans. My income was more than sufficient

a 2 mill loan. All I needed was half a mill. But because of parents insistence to have

their names included in the new property, all kinds of brick-walls came into the equation.

Funnily, the PM of Singapore went through very high profile acrimony regarding a family

house. Of all people, he should be the one to understand the scenario of such circumstances

rather than deny some elderly some kind of security during their golden years?

  2. They have been taking the people for granted for too long now. Doing good for the pandemic does not mean that they are a good government where else most every other they have been wicked to the extreme. Karma Karma Karma.

  3. This type of problem may have a great impact on peoples' lives but it is not
a problem for the average everyday's problem.

Those days I remembered the bank took into considerations the younger applicants income and age for loan eligibility. Banks want your business but not the risks.

Today perhaps they took that eligibility away due to reasons only known to them because they have the behaviour of the loan applicants which may not be suitable for them?

Remember that these people were put there to do a job. They are not there to like us.

Perhaps you can sell your place to buy a bigger space in the woodlands sembawang or changi area. In that way you can pay it off with cash and still be able to retain your three names. It may not be the best solution but there is an option if your family is willing to make some sacrifices. Life is about making sacrifices. Blessings.

  5. I think this is very beautiful, very true .... !

Hardly the day started and ... it is already six o'clock in the evening.
Barely arrived on Monday and it's already Friday.
... and the month is already over.
... and the year is almost up.
... and already 40, 50, 60 or 70 years of our lives have passed.
... and we realize that we lost our parents, friends.
and we realize that it is too late to go back ...
So ... Let's try, however, to take full advantage of the time we have left ...
Let's not stop looking for activities that we like ...
Let's put color in our greyness ...
Let's smile at the little things in life that put balm in our hearts.
And yet, we must continue to enjoy serenely the time that remains. Let's try to eliminate the "after" ...
    I do it after ...
    I will say after ...
I will think about it after ...
We leave everything for later as if "after" was ours.

  7. Words are from the lips, actions are from the heart. Rashida Costa.

People may doubt what you say but they will believe what you do.

    * The difference between Parti's lawyer and the freeloaders.*

Actions prove who someone is; words just prove who they want to be.

Good actions and fine-combing policies do not inflict minorities?

    *They know who they are!*
