We have ant problem in some parts of our house. A few weeks with Baygon was only a temporary solution. The ants got killed but new colonies kept appearing. Option B was to change. Mortein came into play. Not only is odor-free, but also kills the ants, and new colonies only form after 3 weeks. Maybe is something in the residue. Sometimes, we have the freedom of responsibility for ourselves within their narrow, old fashion government-imposed policy limits?
Leaders must have a high level of economic understanding, competence and social skills helpful for a deeper and richer feel, which can be useful for implementing policies. If policies are just about Pay and Pay like that I also can.๐๐ถ๐๐คฃ
(Mensa, as you know, is a national organization for people who have an IQ of 140 or higher.)
Several of the Mensa members went out for lunch at a local cafรฉ. When they sat down, one of them discovered that the salt shaker contained pepper & the pepper shaker was full of salt.
How could they swap the contents of the two bottles without spilling any & using only the implements at hand? Clearly this was a job for Mensa minds.
The group debated the problem, presented ideas & finally came up with a brilliant solution involving a napkin, a straw & an empty saucer.
They called the waitress over, ready to dazzle her with their solution. "Miss," they said, "We couldn't help but notice that the pepper shaker contains salt & the salt shaker…. “
But before they could finish, the waitress interrupted, "Oh! sorry about that."
She leaned over the table, unscrewed the caps of both bottles & switched them.
During the 2015 General election, once the results of the first few countings increased in percentage, the rest of the constituencies followed all across the island. All up.
2020 General Election, a whole fraction of the island went down between 5% to 7% consistently except for two constituencies with ikan bilis oppositions. All down.
An uneducated father with his educated son went on a camping trip.
They set up their tent and fell asleep. Some hours later, the father woke up his son. Father- Look up to the sky and tell me what you see. Son- I see millions of stars. Father- And what does that tell you? Son- Astronomically, it tells that there are millions of galaxies and planets. Father slaps the son hard and says- "Idiot, someone has stolen our tent"

Straits Times senior transport correspondent Christopher Tan mentioned, among other things, the need for the authorities to build bigger HDB flats that will put Singaporeans in a better position to prevent disease transmission (Ponder housing affordability, land cost issues in future S'pore plans, Aug 23). It is a tall order.
The authorities have been very accommodating in trying their best to build different-sized flats. We are fortunate to have a Government that encourages its citizens to own homes.

Singaporeans should not be too dependent on the Government for everything from self-development to recreation. We should learn to swim on our own so that our chances of survival are greater in this uncertain world.

right, it does not need tampering frequently or the norm of 'we are monitoring the situation.'
