Why some were lucky with public housing. 7 years ago my colleague bought a 5-roomer for a little less than $600,000 combined salary of less than $7500. Today their combined salary is above $14000( not eligible in today's rule.) They are thinking of putting it in the market for above one million and upgrading to private property. The gripe is private property has also gone up. Sell high, buy high. Sell low buy low, unless those with more than one property.
