People will feel the trust when there is alignment between what the leader says and does. Our life on the ground experiences does not tally with the higher up with all the noises they are making. It is appreciating a person’s point of view and engaging in a healthy debate that builds to a better solution. It is considering not just your own perspectives and making recommendations that help to achieve greater success. As the popular saying goes, people may not remember what you say, but they will remember what you did. So far people morals and better living are like jokes.
