Raeesah Khan probe: COP issues summons to WP leaders for failure to produce internal documents.
Don't they already know that while having self-rightiousness, one crazy and eccentric person's fate is in the hands of the law? It may look political, but the COP rightfully or wrongly has got a job to do because a weighty wrong was done in a live parliament and a complaint has been maid.
RK might be the girl who cried wolf. But then she is going against 2 lawyers. If most things were not true, she would not be brainless enough to know about defamation? And oh by the way when we were at the AGM meeting, there were a few Indian lawyers in the crowd. When the chairman said anything, that is not to their liking, their first words were always: "Hey you could be sued for saying that."
Non Prejudice or Worker's Party, PAP supporter. I only support myself.
The least basic of a leader.
1. Technical expertise. People expect their leaders to understand their work, in getting things done in a professional manner, absolute clarity, self-awareness and most importantly SMART TIME MANAGEMENT?
2. You need to be credible in the eyes of the people you SERVE?
3. Remember that if you permit poor behavior, you are promoting it.
Last but not least how can they go to Parliament and be an asset to the people to challenge the government regarding the RIGHT WAY to do certain things or ask the government for data?
I just watched RK's video. Unless she came mentally and emotionally prepared, there were no signs of emotional instability under shared communal hearing in view of the fact that she sounded composed???
Forum: Singaporeans deserve to know the truth in Raeesah Khan saga( Resonates with everybody?)
I agree to a certain extent with Mr Brian Seah (Move on from Raeesah Khan saga, Dec 17).
As Mr Seah says, "we have bigger fish to fry".
But I believe that if there are any "rotten fish", they have to be removed, and truths and untruths unearthed before we can move on.
The people involved are not private individuals acting in their personal capacity. These are elected MPs, and the Workers' Party is the biggest opposition presence in Parliament.
Either Ms Raeesah Khan has lied again, or the party's leaders are lying, and only the Committee of Privileges has the capability and resources to find the answer.
All Singaporeans, not just supporters and critics of both political parties, deserve to know the truth.
Commissioner of Inquiry is doing a just fine job. Nobody should be above the law. Those who are finding fault with the inquiry are just as guilty as Singh who has done a similar kind of abusing their authority and imagining themselves in his position?
f he had come out and held a press conference when R.Khan confessed to them about her lie, all the manhours for the police and the inquiry would not have taken place. 'Cause of one man's incompetence and lack of leadership qualities, what did he put the country through? By God's grace hopefully, such lousy character would not be tolerated so as to bring quality personnel in Parliament. Standards need to maintain, including elite gossips about which lousy school one is coming from. PSP should have also have chosen someone who can better present their argument. Parliament is downgrading to a Gurmit Singh Talent show.
ReplyDeleteMan In Bar Orders Tiger Beer..
Lady Next To Him-
What a coincidence, I am having Tiger Beer too. 🍺
Man - I'm celebrating.
Lady - Me too.
Man - What a coincidence! Why are you celebrating?
Lady - My husband & I have tried 4 years for a baby. Today I'm pregnant!
Man - What a coincidence! I am a farmer. For 4 years my hens couldn't lay any eggs. Today all are laying eggs!
Lady - Wow! How did that happen?
Man - I used a different cock 🐓
Lady smiled and said
WHAT A COINCIDENCE !!!
