Bad telephone service from large organizations

Many large organizations in Singapore have bad telephone service. The customer takes a long time (sometimes up to 30 minutes) for a call to be answered.

    The phone was answered with just 2 ring tones. There was no pressing of numbers all over the island. You don't get the feeling that there was urgency for you to get off the landline as quick as possible. After one week, you received a feedback form asking about your experience. And if no submission, they send you a gentle reminder, that you may have overlooked. Now this is called service with a good follow-up.

  2. Dont see advert for telephone operators anymore. The way things are going, there could be long waiting time or zero answers for 999 or 995 in future or sent an email for service. The good old times?

  3. I once sent my bad experience under complaint /feedback to OCBC. I received no reply. Telephone calls were not answered. I resent my complaint. My email was blocked.

It was a loan I had applied at a certain interest rate. And when the approval came two and a half weeks later the interest rate had gone up, and I was charged at the higher interest rate.
