Car parks at private hospitals are full to the brim daily. People are not bothered about saving on petrol or car-park charges which at most expensive places could cost up to $6 hourly charges.
Roads are still congested, only shows people are annoyed about petrol prices but a lot are still driving.
Bigger homes are selling, which before people are conscious of the price whereas smaller sizes are much more affordable.
COES is still climbing, where is the money coming from? The super-rich consist of only how many per cent?

And what is even more commendable was there was no pressure on them to look rich by owning fancy things but richness in their soul, their care for family members and concern for being happy.

My elderly parents have nothing much to spend on. Their appetite is not that good, they don't eat much. Their main expenses are medical ie eye, prostate, blood pressure and teeth. They have now switched to public healthcare which is highly subsidised. They retired a few years ago, so they didn't mind the long wait as time is not a problem. They usually bring newspapers to read while waiting for the long Q, especially at National Eye Centre.

ReplyDeleteWhat they put out is not the real thing. I received a message that my passport is ready for
ReplyDeletecollection. I went to the website to book an appointment for collection. The website
just go round in circles and cannot be opened. I called ICA and after holding on for half
the hour finally got somebody to answer the phone. The reply was there is no more collection
at ICA only at the post office. I called the post office and was told that I can earliest
collect it the middle of next month. What a mess!!!!!! Fu8K them!!!!!!
