The standard of measuring and benchmarking is super low for the ministars now in view of the fact at present corruption scandals in Malaysia. What is needed to defeat them vigorously is having more of Cockles and Nicole Seah in the opposition. Right now we may have good ministars, but deficiencies in talents and caring for the people in the cabinet. Their talents are mostly reading from the text and giving desirable answers suppressing the facts. We know it first hand because we are living and facing all the challenges. As for them, their names alone give them elite and priority services round the clock, how do they understand the struggles ordinary folks faces?
One day when I was discharged from the hospital, on the way home I dropped by a store. My clothes were wrinkly and the staff attitude was super bad. Their attitude changed when they realized I was an elite member. I retorted that a good attitude was only applied because of my membership. I declined their apologies as I felt all customers or consumers should be treated alike regardless of who they are.
Reasons why only mediocre talents will be attracted here:
*High Cost of living. *Overly congested and crowded. *Michael Fay's case. * Unsafe roads. The high stress of driving here. *Cramp living conditions. *Agencies passing the bucks. *Unsuitable weather. *Anti-foreigner sentiment. *Unscrupulous business dealings. *Materialistic and money-minded society. *Too many grey areas. *Laws and rules are overly complex and complicated. *Scams and fights are on the rise.
My tenant arrived here 8 months ago and signed a 2 year lease contract for my private condo. After only 5 months he broke the lease, he could not stand living in this country. He was the high-end expat. His reason for leaving was this country too much of a BS. Yet 25 years ago, he lived here for three and a half years with his wife and two young children. He is now divorced and his children had left home so he was here on his own.
A large majority of the elderly and less-schooled humans have felt useless and brick walls built in front of them. The overly fast-paced digital technology has them leading their lives in fear and hopelessness they feel in dealing with some of the governmental requirements. Some even cried. They are scared. Why have they turned so cruel?? Or are they just deaf dumb and stupid??
Independent authorities are never fully independent. To limit the risks of independent agencies drifting away from serving the common good independent and respected people must be selected to run them.
The tribal wisdom of the Dakota Indians, passed on from generation to generation, says that -
“When you discover that you are riding a dead horse, best strategy is to dismount."
However, in government, more advanced strategies are often employed, such as:
1. Buying a stronger whip.
2. Changing riders.
3. Appointing a committee to study the horse.
4. Arranging to visit other countries to see how other cultures ride dead horses.
5. Lowering the standards so that dead horses can be included.
6. Reclassifying the dead horse as living-impaired.
7. Hiring outside contractors to ride the dead horse.
8. Harnessing several dead horses together to increase speed.
9. Providing additional funding and/or training to increase the dead horse's performance.
10. Doing a productivity study to see if lighter riders would improve the dead horse's performance.
11. Declaring that as the dead horse does not have to be fed, it is less costly, carries lower overhead and therefore contributes substantially more to the bottom line of the economy than do some other horses.
12. Rewriting the expected performance requirements for all horses.
And of course....
13 Promoting the dead horse to a supervisory position.
If you don't understand this theory, you haven't lived long enough.

PAP will perform well in the next GE. The following reason......
ReplyDeleteLives have become better in terms of psychologically, mentally, economically, physically and emotionally. What more can we ask for?
Whether one is wealthy, good-looking or smart, there is one thing no human can avoid-death.
ReplyDeleteNo need to show off.

ReplyDelete1) Those who are the urgency of a bigger home.
ReplyDelete2) Those empty-nest elderly who may have sold their private homes who are cash-rich?
3) PRS who lack the requisite to buy directly from the government.
4) Business people who may have cash out on their private property demote to HDB?
Unless they are migrating, replacing into another property should also be high-priced.
Unless there are options, desperate people will pay for a spacious home in times of pressing needs.
All these headaches came about due to an unfit and lack of foresight government. This is not an exaggeration.
Good character did not translate to a good working attitude or leadership. They are living proof.
RULING PARTY OR BIGGEST OPPOSITION PARTY?
