  1. Here are some scrambled words. The words are familiar but it was tough to rearrange the letters:

    C E H I N O O S - consistency

    A D I I N O T U - the art and sense of hearing

    A A B E L M T U - to walk about

Try them. Do not use the internet unscramble software.

  2. I had difficulty in arranging the letters to form the correct word in some cases. I used the software unscramble.net and get the correct word and explanation. It is a good way to learn some new words.

Dun mean to be rude. It's good to exercise the brain to replenish the gray matter when one gets older.
But time is precious, it's better to learn arranging words that are used in society, if those words sound Greek to us, then may as well learn the real Greek language.
    How many people could remember

    AABELMTU

after a few days or weeks. We could only remember "to walk about", but what is the word for them, sorry can't recollect.

As you are retired, you do not need to improve your vocabulary. But the younger people need a good command of English and vocabulary to progress in their jobs, so they can use this exercise to strengthen their vocabulary.

You can go to www.unscramble.net and try the software. It will give you the correct word, and you can remember it. (At least, it will also train your memory).

  7. I'd finally completed all the 43 words successfully without using unscramble software. I looked up the on-line dictionary and thesaurus for assistance. The last one to finish is "A gaseous body of unorganized stellar substance". Hurray!!
