Forum: Jobs created here due to foreign investment
(I worked in a Japanese multinational company for more than 11 years.
The office was the regional headquarters with more than 700 employees, of whom about 60 were Japanese expatriates (fewer than 10 per cent).
Local offices in the region had an average workforce of 100 employees.)
Investing here? All kinds of quotas? This Pass, that Pass? This minimum salary, that maximum salary? 20% ABSD for foreigners? Too many inconsistencies? No permanencies in rules?
The old built, the new destroy? You cannot benefit by being too stringent? Something has to give? Put yourselves in other peoples' shoes.
Not every country can be the same. But if you watch Presidents and Prime Ministers all over the world, they are at the forefront, representing the country and people. Because it comes to accusations by some self-serving individual of him holding on to power, he allowed all in the government to do as they want, speak as they want (an example of illiterate) and make the decisions they want. A good example would be the KTV saga, where co-ordinations between immigration, police force and manpower were all over the place and directions. During parliament all deflect. I would hate to think when it comes to war!!!!!

Practice moderation- Nothing is more debilitating than living a life of extremes.
