 The high deaths from covid during the past few weeks, since the move towards "living with covid" exceeded my expectations.

 I found an explanation for the large spike in hospitalization and deaths.

Handling of pandemic - Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan

 Did Singapore perform badly in handling covid compared to Hong Kong and Taiwan?

The death rate in Singapore, since the start of the pandemic, is lower than these two territories.

However, the death rate in SG has increased sharply during the past two months. We have to wait and see if the situation worsen during the next few months. I do not think so.
