I have a feeling that one of the objectives of high HDB flat prices is to nudge Singaporeans into adopting a "For as long as long as you live, work hard" culture.
I do not know whether that is right or wrong. For I also believe that idleness breeds trouble. People with nothing productive to do will create trouble with their idle mind.
Do we really want that? "All talk and No action" Singaporeans?
