New Year Celebration in Taipei

There will be a big celebration to welcome the new year in Taipei. A big firework display will be launched from Taipei 101, which is currently the tallest building in the world. Most people in Taipei will be watching the fireworks.

We will be watching the fireworks from the roof top of my daughter's apartment. It is just 1 kilometer away from Taipei 101. We have to get a pass and pay an admission fee to access the rooftop - as it will be in high demand.

On 21/7/2007, Taipei 101 was overtaken by the Burj Dubai in Dubai. Taipei 101 still hold onto the tallest building title until the Burj Dubai is completed in late 2008. International architectural standards define a "building" as a structure that can be occupied and of course completed its construction.

So it's only a matter of time before Taipei 101 loses its title.

May the new year bring more people to visit your blog. May the new year bring changes to the insurance industry; stricter and revolutionary
so that the customers' interest is first. May the new year also see the unethical and incompetent insurance agents removed so that we can have a clean and safe environment.
