Should the financial assistance be given to the families of people who died shortly after being vaccinated? It is likely that the vaccine may have play some part in causing death. It will be difficult for any doctor to say for certain that the vaccine does not contribute to the death.

What cause the global chip shortage?

There is a global shortage of chips. Many manufacturers of cars and electronic products have to curtail their production.

What cause this shortage?
One explanation was the increase in global demand for electronic products, such as computers and smart phones, due to the move to "work from home".
I heard another explanation from an industry expert. We can blame it on the ban of Huawei imposed by America.

Percentage of covid tests found to be positive

Among the five countries shown here, Singapore has the largest number of testing per million of population.

On average, each person is tested 1.7 times. This average is distorted. Most of the tests are carried out on the foreign workers in the dormitory, front line workers and for travelers coming into and leaving the country.

The percentage of tests that turned out to be positive is only 0.6%. This is only one tenth of the rate of 5.3% for all the five countries combined.

My view about modern monetary theory

I give my views about modern monetary theory (MMT).

I support MMT.

It is a good strategy to get the economy moving and people employed.

It also has an implication on the stock market. We may not see the crash that investors fear due to the printing of money.
