The signs in Singapore are helpful in some ways but there are too many instances where they are not helpful and poorly located.

Our directional signs have much room for improvement. Many signs are not not standardized in Commercial buildings and their car parks. Traffic signs also needs improvement, they are put there without regard to whether the motorist have time to read it or not. One can pass by an MRT station and still do not know its name, the list is endless. The fastest way to improve is for the authorities should give a small reward to people who point out each problem.
