My friend was disappointed. He said that people are now crowding the malls. Why are they acting irresponsibly? Are they not afraid of spreading the virus?
I told him - the people use their common sense. They are not stupid. They can see that the virus is mild. If they think that the virus is dangerous, they will hide at home.
The ministers (I shall not call them insane) continue to scare the people using the media, but many of the people are tired of being scared.
Some will continue to be scared, but many others now think that the restrictions (e.g. maximum of 8 in a gathering) are excessive and unnecessary.

More than 70% of the population live in high-rise compartments. Going overseas during this school holiday is not in the equation. Where can people crowd other than malls? Children watching cartoons or playing computer games the whole day is rarely relevant? Families cannot stay home the whole day, they too need a circuit breaker? What are families missing here?
In many developed countries, it is true that high rise compartments legacy was to have at least 2 entrances in case of fire. In contrast, over here, we do not know the reason why it was approved with only 1 main entrance. The only valid reason we can think of is cutting corners on building costs or mostly government agencies who did the approval are likely living in landed homes?

High rice offices and buildings are compulsory to have fire-drills and practised where the emergency exits are.
Private high-rise and HDB do not have this exercise, no one would think that 9-11 can happen here.

There are 3 types of intelligence. Spiritual, emotional and critical. Sadly most only have money intelligence.
Today's homes-Not only are they squashy, bay windows and air-con ledges add eating into the live-in area. Having kitchens with no windows or air-flow is the norm. The old same site area that used to occupy only 200 units have sprung up to 700 units. This is what the future living will be. How can we blame this generation of not wanting children? They know that their children will not have quality lives living in cramp places in the high air. For a government to allow this to happen to living things says a lot about their conscience. Only the rich will have the ability to live in comfort, like houses in Rochalie.
