In Japan, it is not an exaggeration to say almost everyone is out to help you. Japanese people are the kindest and most helpful people and once you have traveled around Japan most will agree that the honesty and kindness of the local people is a big factor in what makes Japan such a wonderful place to live and visit.

There are police officers, stationed in their boxes in cities around the country, to provide directions to lost tourists and locals. Here you not only see police cars speeding whether in carparks or roads, they also tend to weave in and out without signaling WTF. It seems that people seldom take pride in their jobs anymore.

In countries, infrastructures count, and so are the people as they represent that country.

A few weeks ago, I was in a building carpark, when I heard tyres screeching.

I saw a police vehicle, which had missed the exit turning right.

It just reversed with tyres screeching and without any signals like it was angry.

3 taken to hospital after a chain collision on SLE involving 5 vehicles. (Very Common Scenario) today.

License to drive needs to be tougher.

Most Grab drivers have never even driven in their lives but are allowed to drive the public around because they have a license!

Roads and driving are fraught with danger daily.
No one or authority has come up with an Effective and Efficient method to increase the country's and people's confidence in the roads.
So far the answer has been it is a shared responsibility.
You take 50% of your life to gamble with the other shared 50% shared responsibility.
This is the kind of people we have leading the country today. Just take the easy way out.
What a waste.

In Singapore, the drivers are:
Sleepy
Most everyone whether cyclists, pedestrians and drivers felt the roads only belonged to them.
Inpatient.
Kopi-o license
Foreign drivers from Malaysia China etc.
Rushing for time
All a recipe for disaster.
All left to natural forces, it will be worse than countries with guns!

Don know if it is true that bus drivers not enough so offer very good overtime pay. Some are driving 7 days a week and more than 8 hours a day.
