The govt is now working on a second stimulus package. Clearly, the first package, disclosed in budget 2020, is way off the mark. It showed a govt that is out of touch with the real difficulties faced by households and businesses.

Why most young ministers cannot comprehend problems? The olden days they do hands-on jobs learning from
an experience by mistakes and successes. The pertinent fact is that learning comes from doing, rather than instruction
and discussion. Learning can come from observing, attending formal training or reading. We are learning every day
even if we don,t go to business school. The young ministers today learn from their own herd mentality.

When we were young, whatever our parents said or talked to us, we tend to consider them old-fashion or naggy. We had no idea they were worried for us all the time and the love they had for us was paramount. We felt like they were building a prison wall around us. Out of respect for them, we told lies so as not to hurt them and also feared being shouted and being punished.
Now only that we were parents, is only when we understood even when they are not here to lecture us, we are going through Deja Vu. We are walking in their shoes. We understood.
The ministers will never ever understand because they are not walking in our shoes. To most of us, they are just creatures of habit with no conscience. A man is not what he is, but what he hides.
