Re: Recall Campaign for Re-Programming on Mazda

1 Please be informed that Mazda Motor Corporation has initiated a recall campaign for reprogramming of certain Mazda vehicles.

2 Reason for recall: With the following re-programming AKXXXA Powertrain Control Module Software.
Smart Brake Support (SBS)
Engine Stall and Idling Restart

The re-programming of software on the mentioned vehicle with an improved version. The rectification works are expected to take about four hours.

We wish to highlight that the rectification is necessary, as this is a safety requirement.
