MAS is the most useless government organization.
Telephone calls only go to answering machines.
Emails direct to automatically reply that they will reply in 7 working days which inclusive of Saturdays and Sundays works out to 9 days. Now we know the reason why people begrudge their high pay was bcos they are not providing a good service.
Their good names came from non-transparency. With the assistance of church friends who
made a complaint against DBS to MAS, we were told that whether any disciplinary action or
the kind of action taken against financial institutions would NOT be made known. And there
have been NO follow-up. Is this the way to maintain its reputation as a
financial hub at the expense of the public?
