Trump promises to restore America's greatness without distributing financial aid.πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ™πŸ‘. He has great energy for his age and can hear the iron in him.

LKY and Trump share a common trait: they are known for being direct and not mincing their words.

When you see a politician you dislike on TV, there are several approaches you can take:

a)Take a Break: If you find the sight of this person particularly upsetting, it might help to step away from the TV for a bit. Focus on something you enjoy to recharge.

b) Sometimes, humor can lighten the mood. Joking about the situation can help you cope with your feelings in a more lighthearted way.

Remember, having mixed feelings about politicians is natural, and it's okay to constructively express your opinions.

P. S. Embracing the serene tranquillity of my homeland now that the foreigners have returned to their own countries for the Chinese New Year. It’s the perfect opportunity to savour the calm and appreciate the beauty of my surroundings while taking advantage of the quietness and the slower pace of life. How I wish this standard for 365 days.

Even the roads are so much friendlier. I do not have this feeling of being run over anytime soon.

When a country's main is prosperity, money becomes the main ingredient, turning its citizens into commodities and businesses.

Setting aside car-lite approach, how much additional revenue have they earned with the extra 20,000 Certificates of Entitlement ?

Population growth with foreigners bring challenges and pressures on society, the economy, and the environment and the pain it brings.

1. Resources

2. Environmental Degradation

3. Infrastructure Strain

4. Economic Challenges

5. Social Tensions

6. Mental Health.

A few Asian countries that are not dependent on the over-influx of foreigners are e.g. 1) Indonesia, 2) the Philippines, 3) the Gulf States, 4) Japan 5) Koreas
6) Hong Kong 7) China 8) Brunei 9) N.Zealand 10) Bhutan.

The obsession with overly progress has become a miserable country with robotic consequences!!!!.

1. SGD1.? million resale public housing.
2. SGD 100,000 COES for all categories?
3. SGD 20% & 60 % ABSD
4. The 6 million population is still growing, but births declining.
Not record breaking than what?

The concept of prioritising quality over quantity emphasises that the value or excellence of something is more important than its poor quality or sheer amount. For example, having fewer top-quality foreigners can be far more fulfilling and beneficial than having many superficial ones. High quality often leads to greater satisfaction and longevity compared to simply having more unproductive wastes. This perspective encourages us to focus on what truly matters and enriches our lives in a more profound way. Minister Lim Swee says: " FASTERER, BETTERER & CHEAPER."

Funny moments: I was having lunch at a food court when a family of four took a table. The table had a small packet of chope tissue paper. From their accents, they were either from Taiwan or China and looked more like visitors than residents.

Thinking that the pack of tissue was complimentary from the food court to clean the table, they put it in their bag. Two of them went away to order food. Soon, diners who put the chope tissue returned to their table with their tray of food.

As we had finished our lunch and due to return to the office, we offered one group our table and left for them to sort it out as I was quite sick of the frequent conflicts amongst the people here. Peace?

Quantity or Quality?

"Less for more" can apply to various areas that by simplifying or reducing certain elements, you can create a greater impact or value.

A minimalist approach can lead to a cleaner and more effective way that resonates well with users.

Reducing clutter or distractions can enhance focus and lead to a more fulfilling existence. Less can mean more time and energy for things that truly matter.

My wife and I enjoy our evening walks during this quiet period.

Firstly, we do not have to constantly look out for PMD, bicycles or people walking into us with their phones earplucked or in their faces. Secondly, we took time to dodge the walkpaths littered water bottles, cigarette boxes and dog waste.

What is needed are genuine rich foreigners (not money launderers or crooked ones) who come here to spend their money. Therefore, this thing about ABSD may deter them from coming here to push up property prices.
there is also less money incoming. We should put their annual property taxes up 300% and cut the ABSD. Not sure how businesses here will survive as the younger generation is doing online shopping from cheap stuff that is made in China. We now have poor foreigners coming here to work and sending money back to their home countries. Is the outgoing more than the incoming?

Foreigners can only buy properties priced at SGD 3 million and above so as to leave more affordable options for Singaporeans?

Given the strict laws and cameras here, I was quite surprised about litter along the paths nowadays, especially plastic water bottles and dog poos and the smell of urine. I like Orchard Road it is litter free.

Life can feel much more complicated now than in the past, where simplicity often defined daily existence. Back then, people lived in closer alignment with nature, with fewer distractions.

Today, we’re inundated with information, technologies, that can lead to stress and overwhelm. Complexity is on the rise, relationships are often by digital interactions, and the pace of life is faster than ever. While modern conveniences offer incredible benefits, they also bring new challenges that can make life feel chaotic. It looks like things are going to get worse

Balancing our modern complexities with moments of simplicity can help us navigate this fast-paced world.

Mr Shanmugam on Daniel Liu: “He could easily have stood earlier, but we always have more potential candidates than spaces.”

"The ruling People’s Action Party is still looking for more people to field in the next general election, including those with ministerial potential," Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said in 2019?

Growing voters' expectations and public scrutiny hampering Singapore political parties' recruitment efforts ( CNA Dec. 2024?)

Really?

Ikea has shifted its focus from quantity to quality. One year ago, during

weekends and holidays, there were long queues of cars waiting to enter the

the carpark. Now, they have increased food prices and car parking charges.

You purchase their furniture, you receive a coupon for free parking.

Additionally, the food prices displayed on the board are nett, meaning no GST
