Unpopular politicians( e.g. Pritam Sin) should consider standing in Single Member Constituencies (SMCs) rather than Group Representation Constituencies (GRCs) to avoid negatively impacting the overall performance of a GRC. A few reasons why:
1. In a GRC, the performance of one candidate can affect the entire team's chances of winning. If a politician is unpopular, their presence could drag down the overall vote share, jeopardizing the chances of more popular candidates in the group.
2. Contesting in an SMC allows for greater individual accountability.
3. By allowing unpopular politicians to run in SMCs, the electoral landscape remains diverse, offering voters a range of options without risking the stability of a GRC.
4. By running in SMCs, politicians can avoid harming the collective electoral chances of their party.
Please do not use other party members as your lifeline. Think of country other than self !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐌 𝗦𝗜𝗡 Lim Tean and Chee Soon Juan are all articulate speakers.... Yet Lim Tean and Chee Soon Juan are still struggling for a place in parliament due to perceived character flaws... Pritam Sin has now been proved by the Singapore courts for character flaws.... Can the reputation of 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊𝐄𝐑'𝐒 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗬 save 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐌 𝗦𝗜𝗡 from the challenge?
Allow the 3 big opposition parties to take their pick on their election constituencies. The remaining will be shared between the smaller parties by playing " scissors, paper, stone." No fish prawn is also good.
Their motivations can be disillusionment with the current government, a desire for more representation of their concerns, or a push for reforms.
In recent years, we've seen various forms of "rebel voting," whether through supporting third-party candidates, participating in grassroots movements, or an increase in spoilt votes? This trend reflects a growing frustration with conventional politics .
“You can please SOME people ALL of the time, you can please ALL of the people SOME of the time, but you can’t please ALL of the people ALL of the time”
It may be true that the Election boundaries operate independently. However, it may be clear that those responsible for the overhaul understand the importance of maintaining their job security? This type of thing is a no-brainer.
There are several reasons why unpopular parties might still want to contest in general elections:
Many parties are driven by strong ideological beliefs and want to promote their values and policies, regardless of their unpopularity. For some, unpopular parties, participating in elections serves as a means of expressing dissent against the dominant parties, providing voters with an alternative choice, however small.
Overall, even if a party is unpopular, its participation can significantly affect the political landscape. They don't realise what is involved in being an MP!
Malaysians and Singaporeans look similar. It is estimated that around 900,000 of them live here. The candidates shaking hands at the market and hawker places often cannot differentiate between the voters. Never mind, lah.
Goodies, handouts and money can definitely sway voters in elections. These goodies can generate goodwill. However such stratagies can also backfire if voters percieve them as superficial and manipulative. While goodies can attract some voters, only on short term, long term voter is built on trust, policies and candidate credibility?
The effctiveness 0f PR( Public Relations) depends largely it's execution and application of the context. While PR can shape public perception, credibilty on brand building, overabundance can be a put off or insincere.
PAP is successfully strategizing with new candidates. It is not possible to achieve different results by employing the same approach with the same candidates.
The three prominent individuals who should step down are the two at Ridout who entered politics for family and the one who is creating unnecessary controversy for WP. The other three, who are not as prominent, are known to us as The Finger, the HDB one who tries too hard but achieves nothing, and the _______________.
Ensure that all seats are contested. If there is more than one party, it is quite easy to settle with Lom Chiam Pass. Draw lots, throw a dice also can. Do not be like PAP, where everything needs to go through a tunnel.
Uncomfortable Truths: No one cares about your opinion until results are shown. Hard choices; easy life. Easy choices; hard life. You only appreciate your life truly when you experience near death. You only realize its importance when you lose it. Every person you love will die. Human life is fragile.
Achieving different results means changing people or doing things differently, which implies that you cannot repeatedly use the same approach or method. Each time you change or introduce a new element, you open the door to diverse outcomes, different from the last. Smart move.
Being in the opposition parties takes a lot of guts and discipline. However, some seem like leftovers and sia suay. But I appreciate that you gave people a choice to vote.
The new packaging looks great! It gives the parties a fresh and modern feel. Even with the updated design, I’m sad to see that the ingredients remain the same. This consistency ensures that the quality and results we love will continue just as before.

Is there such a thing as rebellion voters?

REBEL VOTERS may vote as a form of protest even if the candidate is not their choice.
Wat about dissent voting or revenge voting?

Character flaws can influence voters' choice, but can outweigh the choice party they are in and charisma.

Can see that some really cannot win, but will give them sympathy votes.

Currently, we only see two eyesore unpopular parties: Red Dot and Desmond (SDA). Others are less visible.
人民行动党成功地制定了新候选人的战略。用同样的策略推选同样的候选人,不可能取得不同的结果

Election is exciting. Everyone starts to come out from the woodwork.
Most people want to see results and actions, not words and excuses.
Vote for the party🇸🇬 you trust according to SMLee🇸🇬. The problem is that we do not trust any party🇸🇬 except ourselves.
No country is perfect. This country has now become hell in paradise.

People trust themselves to know who to vote for, and they also trust their own money.
Hard Truths:
1. You'll be happier if you care less
2. Happiness is not about having everything but about enjoying what you have.
3. Happiness is being real even when you are hated. Water is useless on fake plants.
PAP win Aljunied liao?

Please tell us something we don't know during your walkabout instead of merely parroting each other.
So, what is happening to Josephine Teo's plastic surgery nose?
