WOTC - No value at end of lease

I asked this question in the Wisdom of the Crowd:

Do you accept leasehold property will have no value at end of lease.

Here are the responses: (45 Votes)

42 % - I feel cheated as the govt promised that property will always appreciate.
27 % - I like to see the lease being extended by paying a small premium.
20 % - I will not regard property as an investment, but as a pre-payment of rental.
11 % - It is the correct legal position.
