What is more important for a democracy?

 Wisdom of the Crowd: 63% of the respondents said that it is more important to have a system that can produce a good government that takes care of the people, rather than the ability for the people to change the government.

Self driving buses by Baidu

 I share in this post the Baidu system of self driving buses. I am impressed with their approach.

Singapore tried to operate self driving buses several years ago. I did not hear any update on that project. It was probably abandoned.

Chip Eng Seng 3 year 6.5% fixed rate notes

 I received an email from a stock broking firm about a 3 year fixed rate note issued by a subsidiary of Chip Eng Seng Corp (CESC) and guaranteed by the CESC.

It offers a coupon rate of 6.5% and is for 3 years. The note is described as "direct, unconditional, unsubordinated and unsecured".

Here are my personal view of this note.
